Imported Organic Pasta From Italy

Good pasta comes from the choice of carefully selected grains, such as "Senator Cappelli", Simeto, Bronte, Svevo and Appio, able to provide taste and quality to the finished product. The milling done at the mill on the same site of Stigliano, a mill that boast about three generations skill. The fine flour obtained is promptly delivered to the pasta factory, where the production process starts. The durum wheat is poured in the kneading machine with the addition of water from our lands. After processing, the resulting homogeneous compound is passed in a second kneading tank for the bronze drawing. As soon as the pasta comes out of the chain, first it passes in pasteurizer and then in the trabatto. Then, properly ordered on a frame, the drying process in special cells of pasta starts. After a cycle of drying, the product has the right humidity and then it s allowed to stand outside the cells and then packed in bags. Then proceed to sealing and labeling bags. And here's what you will find at Treasure Island: a genuine pasta, nice to see and especially to taste !!Pasta di Stigiano has been established for the production of fresh and dried pasta, made using only selected semolina durum wheat from Basilicata, working by bronze trafilature. Immersed in the Hill Materna and Nature Park Gallipoli-Cognato, An organic product is a synonym for harmony with nature and with our body. The pasta of Stigliano has just received the organic product certification, Which will enhance the naturalness and purity of the high quality wheat cultivated in the Lucanian valleys.
